For two weeks in 2024, I did an artist in residency at the Fredericton Botanical Gardens which was a project supported by the City of Fredericton Recreation Department. During my residency, I took walks in the botanical gardens and created sketches and en plein air artworks. The gardens were full of inspiration, from wooded areas like the fern corridor to vibrant florals in the pollinator garden. I also hosted a drop in plein air painting workshop, and painting drop ins where community members were invited to paint with me. The residency ended in a pop up art show and sale.
